51 Field Recordings for Paul Romano
For those of you who may not already know, Paul collects field recordings. Occasionally I will see him frantically pulling out his phone to capture a sound… like water running through a storm drain in a certain way, old school hip hop being played through someone’s car stereo as they drive by, or trees that creak slowly as the wind blows. This speaks to how I see him as a person…someone who always finds beauty and excitement in what most would consider ordinary.
On the occasion of his 51st birthday on November 6th, I am hoping to collect field recordings from our friends and family as a gift to Paul from all of us. I hope you will contribute.
